Experience
Mr. Cooper has worked with choirs from grades 6-12 since 2012. His interest in teaching chorus first sparked through a county-sponsored high school mentorship where he directed a local church's youth choir. He went on to accompany and perform with many choirs, eventually beginning his career as a choral educator.Â
During his tenure at Jefferson Middle School, Mr. Cooper taught traditional choral classrooms, show choirs, and musical theatre. Utilizing his experience and skills as a musician, he composed and arranged music for his choirs and pursued a lifelong dream of writing and producing his original musical, Dreamer.
